This workshop is designed to support the integration of STEM-based practices in grades 3-5. The session will include a theoretical explanation for STEM practices, hands-on modeling of an integrated STEM lesson which incorporates career-related learning practices, and tools to aid in lesson planning and the development of STEM-based units of instruction. Teachers will also have the opportunity to lesson plan in grade-level groups during the last portion of the session.
