This workshop is designed to support instruction using the OER Healthy Stream unit for the Middle School grades. It will encompass a detailed overview of instructional materials, with a practical focus on how to adapt Middle School kits and materials to support learning of NGSS. Emphasis will be on using the project-based model to promote scientific literacy and learning in the classroom. Relevant career connections will be made to different activities in the Unit.
