Description
This class is designed for teachers who are seeking an opportunity to revisit (or visit for the first time) the Washington State Learning Standards. Questions to address: What are the expectations for student learning with regard to ELA? What are the standards? What are the claims and targets? Where should my emphasis be with regard to SBA? A recent ESD 112 survey shows that many teachers feel that they have not built a strong background in this area and would welcome an opportunity for greater depth of understanding. Some work time will be available for teachers to plan instruction that is standards aligned.
