Description
This is an asynchronous course that is part of the AESD Inclusionary Practices Project (IPP). It is one of 12 modules that will be offered this year as a part of this project. You are welcome to take this course asynchronously, however, there will also be synchronous courses available if that is better for your learning preference.
In this module, PLCs and Faculty Meetings, participants will develop an understanding of why PLCs are important and how they can be beneficial for staff and student outcomes. Educators will consider PLC coherence and structures for PLC implementation. Understanding how PLCs can serve as continuous, job-embedded learning will help participants understand how they, as educational leaders, can support staff at the building level. This module will provide leadership teams with an understanding of these concepts, and opportunities to collaborate with fellow participants.
Event Notes
This is an asynchronous course through Canvas to be completed at your own pace.
