Description
This is an asynchronous course that is part of the AESD Inclusionary Practices Project (IPP). It is one of 12 modules that will be offered this year as a part of this project. You are welcome to take this course asynchronously, however, there will also be synchronous courses available if that is better for your learning preference.
In this module, Culturally Responsive Teaching, participants will discuss equity, equality, and freedom. Educators will learn about Expert Learning in Action by exploring examples and identifying key characteristics. Understanding what it means to be a Warm Demander will help participants understand how they, as educational leaders, can proactively plan to overcome barriers and support staff in change at the building level. This module will provide leadership teams with an understanding of these concepts, and opportunities to collaborate with fellow participants.
Event Notes
This is an asynchronous course through Canvas to be completed at your own pace.
