How can we create an empowering and engaging learning experience for our students? Join the ESD 112 PBL team as we dive into foundational project-based learning for the virtual or in-person learning environment! Participants will learn about the components of PBL and experience how the framework of PBL can create a purposeful and equitable learning space for all students in the classroom. You will use a variety of tools to create a unit that focuses around content standards while leveraging students’ funds of knowledge and interests outside the walls of the classroom. 

We encourage you to attend with other teammates in your building to create a multi-disciplinary project which makes learning purposeful and connected in multiple content areas for your students in the Fall/Winter.

Structure of course:

There will be only one live/synchronous 2-hour session on November 10th. 

All other activities and content will be explored asynchronously by participants at their own leisure starting October 21st at 12 noon. 

Optional: 2 office hour sessions will be offered to participants who would like support from the facilitators.  October 21st and  Nov 18th from 4-5pm 

One administrator may attend free for every three teachers who register.
