This training is 10 hours for Enhancing Quality of Early Learning Year 1, or EQEL. EQEL is a 20-hour training that can be completed over 2 years. This first 5 hours includes: Brain Building and Executive Function and the second 5 hours includes: Culturally Responsive Practices and Responsive Caregiving. The following roles hired after August 1, 2019 must complete EQEL unless an approved alternative was met: assistant teacher, lead teacher, family home licensee, program supervisor, assistant director, and center director. Alternatives include: an ECE Short or State certificate. Jesi Sucku training on 10/6/21 and 10/20/21. Tracy Collins training on 11/4/21 and 12/2/21.
