Participants will learn about staying up-to-date on school policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and identifying the duties and roles of various district staff.  

This is an online, asynchronous course delivered via the Canvas platform. Even if you have already used Canvas in your district, you will need to create an account in ESD 112's Canvas instance if you have not previously taken an online Canvas class through ESD 112. Please follow the directions in the email you will receive after you register for the class.

Once you have completed the course, the facilitator will be notified and will add the para hours to your transcript. 

If you are a paraeducator, please talk with your district BEFORE registering for a class at the ESD to support the Fundamental Course of Study to ensure that it aligns with your districts plans for training.
