This online course is designed for PLCs or other groups of professional colleagues to explore a framework for developing STEM Teacher Externships. Our purpose in designing this course is to connect teachers to authentic learning experiences in local STEM business and industry through highly collaborative partnerships. Another key purpose is to support teachers in translating these externship experiences into classroom instruction through Project-Based Learning. Hopefully, you are working through this course with a PLC or other group of colleagues to support implementation of the goals you will develop.
