Teacher learning links directly to student learning. Given the pace of changes in schools with shifts in student demographics, curriculum updates and new instructional approaches, teachers must continually learn and grow. How do you as an administrator support that growth through conversations with your teachers and other staff? You can start by shifting your observation conversations from “How did I do” to “How can I get better?”

Come to this three-part session where you will learn strategies and skills to improve your effectiveness and efficiency in supporting teacher and team growth. You will use tools and templates to learn and practice strategies and skills, view model conversations and leave with tangible resources to support your conversations with teachers. Participants will receive the book and materials by Laura Lipton and Bruce Wellman titled, Learning Focused Supervision.

Registrants will need to provide their preferred mailing address to receive their book. 

The session format will consist of some pre-recorded content, independent reading, and three required live sessions (dates and times listed below) that will include a high level of participant engagement. The fourth live session, on January 4th, is an introduction to the class.
