Description
Participants will learn how focusing on early math is racial equity and learn how to use Zeno’s 5 Practices to engage families and children in early math.
Participants will learn how to evaluate books to ensure they have positive representation and do not perpetuate unconscious racial bias AND how to mathematize any book.
Participants will learn how to reach different learning styles and preferences, how to ensure we are not perpetuating unconscious racial bias, and how to individualize and scaffold math for early learners.
