Math Anywhere! is a community based project that brings playful mathematics to local events. This workshop will build capacity of attendees to host Math Anywhere! Pop-Up Play or to build math play into their own events and spaces. We will engage in play together and reflect on these experiences to better understand the fundamentals of community-centered math play. Planning, set-up, facilitation- you will leave this session ready to participate with our project or design your own math experience. In addition to educators and informal educators, we invite and welcome interested community members to join us for this lively and informative workshop.
