Nov. 2 - Improving the Components of the IEP Transition Plan
This first session will provide introduction and implementation of the Indicator 13 Transition Self Study Tool. Participants are asked to bring 5 IEPs in order to get hands on experience inputting, reviewing and reporting the data. This training, provided by the Center for Change in Transition Services (CCTS), is the first of a four part series designed to assist school districts in reviewing transition services, IEPs and outcomes for students with disabilities.
Jan. 11 - Improving the Consistent District-wide Implementation of the Quality Indicators for Secondary Transition
This second session will provide and opportunity to examine QuIST data from each district and discuss the relationship to Indicator 13 and post-school outcome data. Prior to this training, participants are asked to insert their district's QuIST data, with guidance from CCTS. This training, provided by the Center for Change in Transition Services (CCTS), is the second of a four part series designed to assist school districts in reviewing transition services, IEPs and outcomes for students with disabilities.
Mar. 29 - Improving Successful General Education Opportunities for Post-Secondary Preparation Experience for Students with Disabilities
This third session will provide a data dive into CTE and PSO data and an overview of CTE in schools, skills centers & technical colleges and increasing access for students with special needs. Participants are encouraged to invite their CTE representative to this training. This training, provided by the Center for Change in Transition Services (CCTS), is the third of a four part series designed to assist school districts in reviewing transition services, IEPs and outcomes for students with disabilities.
May 10 - Improving Community Linkages for Students with Disabilities after Graduation
This final session will provide an overview of post-secondary options for students with disabilities and agencies who support the transition from school to adult life. This training, provided by the Center for Change in Transition Services (CCTS), is the fourth of a four part series designed to assist school districts in reviewing transition services, IEPs and outcomes for students with disabilities.
Attendance at all four sessions is encouraged although single session registration is permitted. Please consider bringing your entire transition team, including a district administrator, to each session.
