In this fun an engaging session, we will do a brief overview of tier one EC PBIS strategies, then we will jump into tier two. We will be examining the 'toolkit' of what we teach to children in regards to social and emotional development, i.e. social emotional teaching strategies. Participants will examine skills that lead to friendship and be able to teach and embed opportunities for kids to practice friendship skills. Participants will also learn a variety of strategies to enhance emotional literacy in young children, as well as how to teach problem solving and de-escalation techniques.
