Description

The excitement of a new school year brings many thoughts and reflections on how things went last year and whether there is anything we want to change or modify to meets the needs of all the students who will enter our classrooms that first day of school.  Establishing strong Tier 1 foundations is the starting point for a successful school year.  This training will provide an overview of school-wide PBIS and how it is integrated at the classroom level.  Participants will also be introduced to the basic principles of behavior analysis and how understanding student behavior can assist with responding to behavior and developing more effective interventions and supports.

This training is intended for elementary teachers.

Event Notes

This is day one of a two-day series.  Participants may attend one or both sessions; however, participation in this "Part 1" training is a pre-requisite to attending "Part 2."
