In this work, participants will learn effective instructional practices and the research behind them. We will create a plan to implement these practices so that, over time, the use of these engaging practices are strengthened.

We will be working with the middle and high school math teachers on:

• Highlighting instructional practices which support development of the SMPs for ALL students
• Learning and creating a plan of action to implement more engagement in mathematics
• Coaching/Feedback on implementation of these instructional and assessment practices
