This workshop (Parts 1 & 2) will focus on introducing the audience to the term “ACE”, along with providing a brief medical background to this issue. The Types of the Adverse Experiences Children are exposed to will also be discussed. The workshop will explore some researched based Teaching Strategies, and Community Supports that have been proven to be successful for children struggling with their ACE's. This workshop will highlight much of the recent research discussed at the June, 2019 & 2020 Trauma Conferences.
