This training is intended for two audiences: 1) Administrators (such as superintendents, asst superintendents, and principals) who will evaluate principals and assistant principals using the AWSP Leadership Framework 2) Principals and assistant principals who will be evaluated under the AWSP Leadership Framework.

This training satisfies the training requirement for administrators who will evaluate principals and asst principals using the AWSP Leadership Framework.

Attendees will learn:

1. How to use the AWSP Leadership Framework and corresponding rubrics to encourage and identify professional growth and practice
2. How the rubrics reflect the strong association between leadership performance and important school and student outcomes
3. The AWSP Leadership Framework’s reflective components, and how each component is intended to stimulate discussion and assist principals and evaluators in examining factors that influence the principal’s leadership
4. How to explore evidence and measures and support as they relate to the Framework and principal performance
5. How to build growth-minded conversations around leadership

ZOOM information meeting will be sent to each ESD coordinator to share with registrants

Participants will need to download a copy of the AWSP Leadership Framework prior to the training. 

(Hardcopies will be available to all building leaders and supervisors in mid-late August)

Participants must complete 3 hours of ‘After Session Learning’ for each training day, through the AWSP Learning Management System. Once complete, AWSP will notify the ESD coordinator.
