Primary Elementary Teacher's Cohort

In this FREE Canvas Course, participants will learn strategies for the practical application of the seven Crosscutting Concepts to improve student sense-making with scientific concepts. In the context of this course, the strategies will be applied to a climate science topic. The design for this course was based on feedback from Washington State's nine Regional Science Coordinators and Science Fellows. It is delivered to grade-banded cohorts working together with the guidance of Emeritus Science Fellows.

Event Notes

Participants are asked to address each module sequentially. The DEADLINE for completing all modules is February 28, 2022, at 5:00 pm. 7 STEM Clock hours are contingent upon the FULL completion of all course modules.
