In these sessions, participants will engage in activities and have experiences that will introduce them to a deeper understanding of STEM in practice. The following 5 sessions are organized to engage in key concepts the STEM practices:
Session 1: Immersion Activity - Motion Sensor and 3 Dimensions Lesson (Practice and Crosscutting Concepts)
Session 2: Looking at Practices across all content (Puzzle activity) - HW Identify practices in classroom lessons
Session 3: Ambitious Science Teaching - Eliciting Student Ideas Protocol
Session 4: The QFT Protocol
Session 5: Engineering Design Challenge - Feedback and Revisions - Connect to Practices - Same as Fellows Activity (S)
