This professional learning community is designed to support our region’s educators and school and district administrators in the 2021-22 implementation of E2SSB 6162. This WA State legislation requires screening for signs of literacy weaknesses associated with dyslexia. It is an opportunity for our state’s educators to assess their K-2 students' literacy skills and to design systems of support to provide explicit, evidence-based reading instruction to improve students’ literacy learning.
