Description

  1.     Participants will design and construct circuits in a model home. 
  2.     Participants will analyze how the presence of energy in the form of sound, light, or heat in one place is a result of sound, light, or heat in a different place. 
  3.     Participants will utilize embedded STEM resources to strengthen energy transfer knowledge and application. 
  4.     Participants will experience culturally responsive instructional strategies to support all student’s learning. 
  5.      Participants will explore connections to engineering careers. 
  6.      Participants will experience strategies to support students in synchronous/asynchronous distance learning. 

Event Notes

This event is being jointly offered in partnership with West Sound STEM Network, Tacoma STEAM Network and Mid-Columbia STEM Foundation. A stipend of $75 will be awarded for educators who complete the course.

Registration ONLY for educators who work in the ESD 113 region.
