Issues of Abuse

This workshop will address the identification of physical, emotional, sexual, and substance abuse; provide information on the impact of abuse on the behavior and learning abilities of students; and identify methods for teaching students about prevention of all types of abuse. Participants will learn about available community resources and how to engage the family in the use of these resources.
This course meets the Issues of Abuse requirements for candidates who are applying for a continuing certificate after August 31 1992 (WAC 180-79A-030).

Please bring your own food to eat while you work. A meal will not be provided.
