Description
ESD 123 in collaboration with The Mid-Columbia STEM Education Collaboratory and Code.org is offering Computer Science in Science.
This course is for middle school science teachers; including self paced on-line work and two school year follow up meetings. A teacher stipend is available for the first 15 registrants.
- Code.org has partnered with the award-winning Project GUTS (Growing Up Thinking Scientifically)
- 4 instructional modules and professional development for the introduction of computer science concepts
- Life, physical and earth science concepts within the context of modeling and simulation.
- Addresses the integration of the NGSS and CSTA
