In this course 3rd Grade through High School educators will explore Washington State's Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Standards from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). Participants will engage in an integrated science and ELA  lesson that will demonstrate equitable strategies to reach all learner's SEL needs.

August 17th 8:00-12:00 4 STEM Clock Hours ( In person at ESD 123 in Pasco)

Sept. 30th 4:00-6:00pm 2 STEM Clock hours - Follow up on implementation OF SEL Strategies in the classroom

Stipend available for full participation, implementation review, and completed survey

COVID-19 Guidelines for ESD 123 Onsite Events

August - September 2021

We are very excited to welcome you back to ESD 123 for an in person event. As we transition back during these uncertain times, we want you to know that safety is still our top priority.  

In light of the current surge in COVID-19 cases, we will be following the mask guidelines below as we work together to protect the health and safety of our guests and staff.

• We are encouraging all participants to wear a mask.

• Unvaccinated participants will be required to wear a mask.

• Masks can be temporarily removed when drinking or eating.

• If you are vaccinated and choose to not wear a mask, you may be asked to show proof of vaccination.

At this time, the ESD will not be providing food or beverages during our in-person events.

• Please watch for PdEnroller notifications regarding lunch plans

  • Unless otherwise indicated, you will have a one-hour break for lunch so you can dine at a nearby restaurant

  • In some cases, you will be asked to bring your own lunch for a working lunch during the event. If this is the case, you will be notified prior to the event. 

• Vending machines are available for the purchase of snacks, soda, and water

• Coffee is not available at the ESD so make sure you stop at your favorite coffee shop on the way.
