This workshop will focus on GLAD strategies that specifically relate to mathematics instruction.  Participants will learn new ways to incorporate GLAD reading and writing strategies to teach mathematics.  Special emphasis will be placed on teaching academic vocabulary and sprinkling your curriculum with highly effective GLAD strategies.  All activities are designed to keep the focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking mathematics through the lens of GLAD!

If your school district is a member of the Language Acquisition Cooperative (LAC) the fee for this course is waived. Please complete the registration process as per normal.  The following districts are in the LAC: Brewster, Bridgeport, Cascade, Cashmere, Eastmont, Ephrata, Lake Chelan, Mansfield, Manson, Moses Lake, Okanogan, Omak, Orondo, Palisades, Pateros, Quincy, Soap Lake, Tonasket, Warden, Waterville, and Wenatchee.
