Read the book, Academic Conversations: Classroom Talk That Fosters Critical Thinking and Content Understandings.  We will engage in weekly discussions reflecting on text using guiding questions (see agenda).  We will also experiment with strategies from the book and reflect on student outcomes and our experiences using the strategies.
