Please join NCESD in hosting two expert trainers from our partners at ESD 112 to provide us an overview of student threat assessment systems (STAS), including the Salem-Keiser model that they have successfully implemented. Our guest trainers will cover the STAS principles, research, protocols, and benefits, as well as the process, timeline, and challenges of implementing and sustaining STAS.
Goal of STAS: To assist schools in managing students who present a threat for violence and provide options for safety, intervention, and support.
