NCESD, August 20, 2018. Who teaches students with disabilities?  There is an increased focus to be sure that students with disabilities are educated with their typical peers to the maximum extent possible.  Although they need modifications, most have the cognitive ability to handle the same content as their typical peers. Currently, in the State of Washington, there are nearly 2 paraprofessionals to every one teacher in special education.  This training is offered for those paras.  Lunch is on your own.
