Description: In the event of injuries that result in heavy bleeding, it is important to know the emergency steps to prevent further blood loss. This workshop will cover the basic techniques of bleeding control. It is supported by a Stop the Bleed grant awarded to Confluence Health.
Purpose: To prevent deaths from a severe blood loss (exsanguination) by teaching basic bleeding control.
