Suicide is the second leading cause of death in Washington State among youth age 11-18.

Participants will be empowered to recognize youth in need and respond to those seeking help. This training will dispel common myths surrounding suicide, provide facts about risk factors and warning signs, engage trusted adults in suicide prevention and responses, and provide resources for those seeking help.  This training is appropriate for student support professionals and administrators who wish to improve suicide prevention & intervention planning and response in their buildings. Participants will also learn about cultural awareness in relation to our Migrant community.
