This AWSP Leadership Framework Training meets the state requirement for anyone who is new to supervising a principal or assistant principal.  This training will be a mix of synchronous learning (zoom) and asynchronous learning on the AWSP Learning Management System.  This training will have school leader supervisors diving deep into the eight Criteria of the AWSP Leadership Framework.  Participants will understand the AWSP Leadership Framework has been designed as a resource for the ongoing GROWTH and evaluation of a school leader.  More specifically, the framework has been carefully crafted to be used by supervisors and school leaders together as they develop a robust observation and evaluation system focused on the growth of the school leader.  Training will focus on the areas of equity, inclusion and belonging that are woven throughout the framework.  All course work must be completed by October 19, 2022.

Six of the 12 clock hours for this course will count toward the Educational Leadership requirement for Administrator Certificate renewal, beginning July 1, 2023.

This course aligns to the Leadership Framework and PSEL Standards (1 hour each standard).

Day 1:  Standards 1:C;  3:C;  and  5:A,B  

Day 2:  Standards 5:E,F;  6:A; and  9:A,B,K
