Interested in taking a leadership role in determining effective strategies for infusing computer science and computational thinking across all K-12 content area? 

The NWESD is joining our state's eight other Educational Service Districts in continuing regional Computer Science Leads groups to drive forward efforts to increase and enhance computer science education efforts through an equity lens.  In our meetings, we will connect with all ESD groups and OSPI to stay abreast of new learnings and current trends.  We'll also investigate our local needs, efforts and successes!

The commitment:
The NWESD Computer Science Leads group will convene three times during the 2019-2020 school year for full-day events.  The commitment will be to attend all 3 meetings.

Who should attend:
We want classroom teachers, instructional coaches and building/district administrators who are passionate and committed to Computer Science education.  Please email Amy Colburn at acolburn@nwesd.org with your name or the names of staff members who will represent your district.
