Description
Even though students are identified as Highly Capable, it does not mean that they are the same. We all have different styles of learning, different passions, varied creative expression, various strengths! As differentiation is explored through this hands-on, engaging workshop teachers will have the opportunity to learn what differentiation is and then take it deeper into what does it specifically mean for our highly capable students. The course will provide practical tools, strategies, and resources to transfer the learning to classroom instruction. The course integrates the role of formative assessments, flexible differentiated groupings, and multiple pathways in the teaching, learning and assessing process. |
