The Highly Capable Cooperative will offer a PLC for district administrators and teachers in charge of highly capable programming in the districts. This year’s PLC will focus on the following program topics:
•    Program goals, philosophy, purpose aligned with ID, services, and curriculum
•    K-12 services menu development based on evidence of efficacy
•    Identification procedures for HiCap students and forms aligned with WACs
•    Procedures and forms for appeals, exit, and re-entry
•    District recording/reporting document for ID eligibility status
•    Acceleration methods and models
•    Principles and models of best practices for effective curriculum and instruction
•    Program evaluation
•    Social-Emotional needs of the Hi-Cap learner
