Target Audience: Snohomish County Early Intervention (Part C) and School District Early Childhood (Part B) Professionals

A challenge we all face is the effective transition of children and families served under Part C of the IDEA to being served through coordination with the local school district, and Part B when eligible. As those who work in early learning and those who work in school districts, we all share a commitment to serving the needs of children and families. While we approach this work from different perspectives, we share a commitment to these children.

As providers and educators in Snohomish County, we are committed to improving the interface of these two systems and are making this a shared focus for the 2019-20 school year. We invite you to join us to begin strategizing our approach to this challenge. We will identify areas of success and areas for improvement and create a plan for engaging this work for the coming year. 

NWESD will provide a working lunch and the meeting will begin at 11:30 am.
