Description

A 4-part series will be hosted by a collaboration of outdoor educators from local nonprofits to assist educators in ways to incorporate the NGSS and climate science into lesson planning, and how to better utilize the outdoors into everyday teaching. Educators will engage in hands-on activities to conduct with students and increase confidence in outdoor classroom management. Sponsored by OSPI, 19.5 STEM/clock hours are available from the NWESD for a fee of $58.50. A teaching tool kit, $100 stipend, and substitute reimbursemtnts available from NSEA to only Whatcom County educators are some of the many incentives for completing the series! 

Target Audience: K-6 educators interested in NGSS and incorporating climate science into everyday teaching.

This particular training series is grant sponsored by OSPI and only available to Whatcom County educators. Please visit the ClimeTime website for projects in your region.
