This training session goes beyond the basic understanding of threat assessment to address management planning. Participants will learn about the core components of a safety plan, effective strategies/interventions to include in a safety plan, monitoring fidelity and compliance to the plan, and evaluating progress. Suicide will also be addressed and its connection to threat assessment process.  In addition, case studies will be reviewed, as well as opportunities for hands-on practice in lab exercises.
