Description

NASA's Science Mission Directorate: The Universe

NASA's Science Mission Directorate has four main areas of study.  From September-December, we will focus on a different  area each month.  What is NASA hoping to learn about each area of study?  How do science questions drive mission design?  Why does each area of study matter?

For September, we will focus on The Universe.  Learn about recent discoveries and upcoming missions to  look deep into the past.  Classroom-ready resources and project ideas around the Hubble Space Telescope, James Webb Space telescope, and the scale of the  universe will be explored.

This workshop is one of a monthly series offered throughout the school year.  A new topic each month will be offered in both Bremerton and Port Angeles.  Check www.oesd114.org/stem for upcoming topics and dates.
