AHERA Certificate: Initial Building Inspector
- Liz Kohls-Chase
Revisions in EPA and OSHA regulations now require that all asbestos samples taken from publicly-accessed buildings be collected by an Accredited AHERA Building Inspector. This three-day course satisfies the requirements outlined in the April, 1994 EPA Model Accreditation Plan (MAP) and the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA).
It is required for anyone conducting building surveys for the presence of asbestos-containing materials.
This AHERA Certificate Initial Building Inspector training is EPA, OSHA, and L&I compliant for construction, building maintenance, and management & school personnel.
A minimum of 7 attendees is required for this course to commence. Registration fees will be refunded if the class is cancelled.
