This registration is for participants who are enrolled or have already attended days 1-2 of Mentor Academy. Day 3 must be attended at least 8 weeks after days 1-2. 

Mentor Academy 101 is a three day event focused on the development of foundational mentor and coaching skills and knowledge. This training is intended for experienced educators who will be supporting the instructional growth and development of novice educators, although the skills transfer to work with veteran educators, too. Topics include: understanding the functions of mentoring, facilitating learning-focused conversations, using instructional frameworks to promote growth, conducting observations and providing effective feedback, gathering data, promoting equitable classrooms, and maintaining confidentiality.  

Lunch will be 45 minutes to 1 hour on your own. Feel free to pack a lunch and eat in the classroom or go out to a local restaurant.
