The workshop is a joint venture between Olympia and Tacoma focusing on applications of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology and applications of 3-D printing and CAD technology. One day will cover “manufacturing.” Advances in 3D printing, design careers, current software and hardware, etc. One day will be based on “VR.” How do you “make” a VR or AR environment, hardware/software needed, possibilities in the “virtual” world, implications of teacher development, training opportunities, etc. Time will also focus on planning/development for implementing ideas into existing and future classrooms.
