Barbara Duffield, Executive Director for SchoolHouse Connection, will provide a comprehensive view of the reauthorized McKinney-Vento Act. She will discuss the rights of homeless students and the duties of school districts to serve and support the educational needs of children and youth experiencing homelessness. Federal requirements, as well as best practices will be discussed in depth. There will be ample opportunity for question and answer with our national expert as she tackles issues related the education of homeless children and youth from preschool to higher education.
