Participants will learn about current developments in state policy, particularly as they relate to unaccompanied youth. Presenters will share background on the Homeless Student Stability and Opportunity Gap Act and recent implementation efforts. Members of the Mockingbird Society’s Youth Advocates Ending Homelessness (YAEH) program will join the discussion to provide a youth perspective on how schools and districts can better support unaccompanied homeless students.
