Fresh Perspectives for Asthma Management in the School Setting, will be broadcast from Seattle Children's Wright Auditorium to the Washington State ESD’s and Clover Park School District, on May 10, 2017.

The asthma seminar features presentations on: AAP and NASN community partnerships needed to improve care for children with asthma, an in-depth look at AMES’s definitions of severity as they relate to practice, case scenario discussions focusing on broad assessment needs and management priorities to support asthma control, family perspectives and key health education resources to support culturally responsive asthma care.

The Asthma seminar will be moderated by Nicole Klein, President of SNOW and Judy McCrudden, School Nursing Corp Supervisor, Bremerton. Speakers include Sheryl Morelli, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Seattle Children’s Care Network, Robin Evans- Agnew, RN, PhD, UW Professor of Pediatrics and assistant professor, Nursing and Healthcare Leadership at UW Tacoma, Marijo Ratcliffe, DNP, ARNP, Seattle Children’s pulmonary department, and Sara Swanson, Seattle Children's health educator.
