SB 5395 requires, among other things, that schools provide students with information on affirmative consent and bystander training.  This interactive and engaging training will provide teachers and administrators the opportunity to reflect on and learn about these concepts while exploring activities they can use with their students.   

Participants will:

• Articulate a nuanced definition of Affirmative Consent (in alignment with SB5395)
• Describe three activities they can implement with their students to teach affirmative consent and bystander response
• Demonstrate how to model active bystander responses in their classrooms
