Online Sessions will be held from 8am to 3pm with the schedule below:
· 8am to 10am - online
· 10am to 1pm - work time and lunch
· 1pm to 3pm - online
There will be about 2 hours of independent work to do for each training day - a combination of reading and watching videos - some done in advance to prepare for each day’s session, and some assigned during the break between same day sessions.
All readings and handouts will be sent to you as email attachments a few days before the session. You may want to print them off to use.
In addition, you will need to have a print copy of The Framework for Teaching Evaluation Instrument by Charlotte Danielson. The official 2011 version is available for free download from the OSPI website (see link below) or for purchase as a hard copy online. You may use the 2013 version, but readings and documents in the training sessions use the 2011 version.
Optional books to purchase (allowable purchases from your district TPEP iGrant):
· Enhancing Professional Practice, C. Danielson, 2007. A new edition of this book is coming out in the next several months, so this is not required. You will be provided PDF copies of all readings from this book.
