Description

Join us for an exciting opportunity for teachers to engage in learning about Ambitious Science Teaching Practices, the Next Generation Science Standards, and an aligned science unit incorporating NGSS and CCELA/Math. This interactive and entertaining workshop will bring science to life as we explore everyday events through a STEM lens. This workshop will allow all teachers to enjoy learning about basic physics & engineering concepts, engage in a lesson by lesson walk through of an aligned science unit focused on playground slide collisions, and discover the connections between science ideas through hands-on explorations. All teachers are welcome to take part in this exciting program. No science background needed.
