Mon, June 17 2019 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

- Interrelated factors that foster toxicity in workplaces: destructive leaders, susceptible followers, conducive environments
- Identify the conducive environmental factors that foster toxicity: culture, climate and the absence of checks and balances
- Learn to apply strategies that mitigate the implications of destructive leadership: decreased employee performance, turnover, poor communication, motivation
Review studies related to the dark side of educational leadership: destructive leadership behaviors and workplace attitudes, dark side of teaching
