This online course provided by Educational Impact and based on the work of Heather T. Forbes, LCSW,  the owner of the Beyond Consequences Institute (BCI) and recognized expert on raising children with difficult and severe behaviors. The course will guide staff through the process of learning about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) through topics dealing with executive functioning, emotional regulation and disregulation. Participants will engage in online discussions with other students in the course (in district only) as well as face-to-face conversations during Academic Collaborative Time.
